Your first session is about more than hypnosis. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to hypnotherapy, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to experience moving forward. I’ll explain the process, answer any questions, and then guide you through a hypnosis session tailored to you and your goals.
Everyone is different, so there isn’t one set number of sessions that works for everyone. Some people notice meaningful changes quickly, while long-standing patterns or more complex goals may benefit from additional sessions. We’ll talk about your goals and determine an approach that makes sense for you.
Hypnotherapy can support a wide range of goals, including stress and anxiety management, confidence and self-esteem, changing unwanted habits, emotional eating and weight-management goals, smoking or vaping cessation, fears, performance, sleep, and emotional healing. It can also help you identify and change subconscious patterns that may be keeping you stuck, so you can begin responding to life in new ways.

If possible, leave yourself a little time afterward before jumping back into a busy schedule. Please arrive for your session sober and clear-minded. Avoid alcohol, cannabis, recreational drugs, or other intoxicating substances before your appointment. If I notice you’ve fallen asleep, I can gently bring your attention back to the session. You don’t need to be deeply relaxed or asleep for hypnosis to be effective. The goal is a comfortable state of focused attention where you can participate in the process.
